It will connect the area to popular attractions including Bayside, the American Airlines Arena and the proposed Science and Miami Art Museums, as well as serving as an exciting destination in its own right.
Renowned landscape architechts EDAW will meld aspects of plant life, lighting, artwork and walkways to make Riverwalk a lavish, organic addition to urban Miami. Riverwalk will also include lighting designs from the internationally renowned Paris - and New York - based L'Observatoire, who count the Louvre in Paris among their clients. Financing for the project has been secured through a combination of public funds from the city of Miami, and private moneys from the Related Group. |
